Which flowers press best?

We wish we could list them all but as a general rule-of-thumb: flowers that are flatter/thinner like anemones and sweet peas press beautifully. Thicker or tropical flowers like dahlias and orchids tend to not press well. If you have questions about your particular bouquet, feel free to email and we are happy to give your our opinion!

What should I know before?

Fresh flowers work best to avoid browning and retaining their color.
However, it's important to keep in mind that due to the organic and natural process, flowers will not press out and retain color exactly as they were when fresh. Even flowers that are typically reliable, will not press nicely if they are not in great shape. All the colors eventually fade a bit over the years but that’s the beauty of it! 

We like to avoid arrangements of only one type or color of flower. White flowers have the highest chance of browning and so we typically don’t suggest arrangements with mostly white/ivory/blush/light colored flowers.

How long does the process take?

Pressing flowers is a slow process & can take up to 4-5 months to complete so we will send updates on when to expect your frame!

I already got married but would love to have a keepsake. Is it too late?

It is never too late! We can discuss recreating your bouquet but additional fees may apply to source your specific blooms. 

I am Not married but I love pressed flowers. Can I still order a frame?
